| Hey! I..m Dale Brown from Heavener, Oklahoma. I was a truck driver for 33 years and played my music on the side. I always carried my guitar with me and played wherever they would let me. One night after unloading in New Jersey ,around the time the bar closed ,I parked in the bars parking lot until the next day. I went in and had breakfast at the club and had a few beers and then asked the bartender if I could play my guitar. He said No that he had a band that came in at night and he didn..t want any music on his shift. I had a few more beers and asked again and you guessed it - again he said No! I counted out a thousand dollars and told him that I wanted to play three songs and if I ran off any of his twelve customers then the thousand was his. He let me do it then. I played my three songs, picked up my thousand and put away my guitar. The twelve customers asked me to play some more. Moral of the story is I played up until the band came in and by that time there was around a hundred people in the bar.The boss stopped me and wanted to know where I was going with my guitar. He asked me to play that weekend with his band and paid me 500.00 for the weekend. So I had my original thousand, plus his 500.00 so I guess money really does talk!! I..ve recorded 5 songs with Stardust of Nashville all 5 hit 5 or better somewhere. I..m new on the computer but I will try to answer all emails.
