About Me |
|
I have finally broken free from the gravitational pull of Los Angeles. After over five years in the land of fruits flakes and nuts, I am safely back east in the city that never sleeps. Seriously, LA was cool for a while, but there are more adventures to be had in life than to stay in one place too long. "I find religion interesting, but wonder why otherwise intelligent people take it so seriously" Douglas Adams "LA is the loneliest and most brutal of American cities. New York gets god awful cold in the winter, but there is a feeling of wacky comradeship somewhere on some streets. LA is a Jungle. South Main St., where Terry and I took strolls with hot dogs, was a fantastic carnival of lights and wildness. Booted cops frisked people on practically every corner. The beatest characters in the country swarmed on the sidewalk. All of it under those soft southern California stars that are lost in the brown halo of the huge desert encampment that LA really is." You Belong in Greenwich Village Avant garde and bohemian, you're quick to adopt new ideas and lifestyles. And while you're a bit less weird these days, you still have a "live and let live" philosophy. Where Should Your Inner New Yorker Live? I am 68% unpure according to this test. Which is fine with me another point and I'd have to turn around. PURITY TEST |
