| Connery Records w/Alex Roy and Nick Bilotta Connery is a relatively new band, made up of Jake Marquis (Vocals, Guitar, Lyrics) Josh Burkett (Drums, vocals) Andrew Cash (Guitar, vocals, Lyrics) and Matt Sohl (Bass, vocals). They began in February 2007 first under the name Of These Gates. Their first show was at the Bridgton High School Battle of the Bands, since then they have made tremendous effort to integrate themselves into the local music scene.Connery possesses broad influences and inspirations that attribute to their music. They are determined to make their mark on music. A couple things you should know about Connery: -Connery placed 6th in the 2007 Reindeer Records Rockoff also winning an honorable mention for songwriting and lyrics. - The Rockoff got Connery on NBC affiliate WCSH 6, in a short segment about the Rockoff. -Almost all of Connery's songs have been track of the day on garageband.com and have won many reviewers awards. -Connery recorded a five song EP (The Furthest from the Sea) with Rock ME Studios in Brewer ME. Check out their Myspace in our top friends -Jeremy Holden is the band's old drummer and left Connery in late summer 2007. -They didn't actually play with Justin Timberlake, but boy do they want to.
