"The first time that I heard of BIRTH!, I was sitting on the patio at a Club M/R/X event at Roberto’s when a friend of mine came barreling out of the venue to report, “You should have seen it, BIRTH! dumped paint all over the place! Everyone was playing in it and Roberto is fuming!” Following his performance the promoter of M/R/X told the artist known as BIRTH!, "If they kick you out, it was totally worth it!"I was sorry I’d missed it and I wasn’t about to let that happen again. Birth is a one-man electro-punk onslaught, creating sonic mayhem reminiscent of the likes of Fad Gadget or The Screamers with a mere loop pedal and a microphone. But is it boring, you ask? I was left frozen in awe as I watched BIRTH! leave the stage, molesting anyone who got too close and leaping onto bar furniture.
