Durch einen Besuch des legendaeren Mannheimer Milk Clubs 1993, bin ich mit dem Drum and Bass Virus infiziert worden. Ich beschloss bald darauf mir Turntables und einen Mixer anzuschaffen. Durch haeufiges Auflegen auf kleineren Partys, machte ich mir nach und nach einen Namen in der regionalen Szene. Ich spielte mich im Laufe der Jahre durch allerlei Partys und Raves, wobei keine groessere Veranstaltungsreihe im Rhein-Neckar-Delta ausgelassen wurde. Unter anderem kam 1998 auch eine Residency bei der Berliner Steppaz Convention Crew zustande. Im Sommer 2001 lernte ich den „Original Dancehall Junglist“ Dj Freeze kennen. Wir beschlossen gemeinsame Sache zu machen und gruendeten Das Partyprojekt „Boogie Nights“. Hierbei ging es uns in erster Linie darum, unsere Definition von Drum and Bass den Partyheads naeher zu bringen. Es wurden auch meistens nationale Acts gefeatured. Es gab aber auch den ein oder anderen international bekannten Gast. Im Rahmen dieses Projekts gab es eine Reihe legendaerer Shows mit Dj Freeze und mir an 4 Turntables. Das Clubprojekt „Boogie Nights“ hat seine Homebase im Mannheimer Rude7 Club (Big Up an die Dee Buzz Crew!). Es gab auch eine Radioshow der Boogie Nights Crew auf Kunninmindz.com. Diese ist aber bis auf weiteres auf Eis gelegt.
