Heroes:Heroes is used too indiscriminately these days. Celebrities are not "heroes." True heroes are those who risk their lives to save someone. People like firefighters, law enforcement officers, and our military. But I do admire people. Most of all, my father. He served in the Pacific in World War II, worked hard all his life, provided for his family, was a good man, and did it all quietly. He died much too young but left a legacy. |
