| With Pop/R&B artist Daria's brave, rich, traveled voice, it's no surprise that this songstress has lived all over. Originally from Poland, Daria started singing at a young age, as many fine musicians have. She attended music school where she studied voice, dance, piano, and guitar, and was known to put on impromptu performances at birthday parties, family events and church. As she grew up, Daria began to feel restless in her small Polish hometown. She knew that if she was serious about a career in music, she had to get out. And get out she did. At age 18, Daria packed her bags and moved to Germany, where she formed bonds with some amazing German MC's. Performing live and recording constantly, Daria developed quite a following in Germany. At age 21, when her day job in Germany changed, she took a huge risk, moving once again – by herself – to London. Daria found herself all alone in a huge city where she knew no one – and no one knew her. She turned to music – and songwriting – for comfort and companionship. Fast Forward to March 2007: Daria decided to finally make the move she had always dreamed of to NYC, again abandoning her roots to pursue her dreams of success as a musician. She was soon thereafter noticed by GMB records, who admired her sultry voice and eclecticism. If she weren't making music, she would most likely be a translator. Her knowledge of Polish, English, German, Greek and Spanish has rendered her a lover of languages: and this in evident in the universal appeal of her sound. Classically alluring, with a taunting, tempting voice, Daria sings soft lullabies of joy and heartache, From a small town in Poland – to Germany – to London-to NYC – she humbly lays her heart on the table when she sings - pulling her wide foray of life experiences.
