| I'm a home-birthing mother of four boys, ages 16, 12, 9 and newly born (June of '08), wife and best friend to one (17 years) and a midwife-in-training to many. I apprentice with a local homebirth midwife and when not speeding around town helping catch babies in the middle of the night, I'm likely doing the following: refereeing and/or counseling boys, chasing concerts, sipping margaritas, and exhausting every resource imaginable in my never-ending quest in finding that next musical inspiration. (often in that order) I'm passionate about women's reproductive rights, music, politics, unhindered birth, and being a humbled student of the universe. I'm a sleep-deprived slave to my groove, therefore music is my O2 and lattes my H2O. I reside along Colorado's beautiful Front Range and am pretty southwest of the political compass. .. .. .. .. |
