| Family Tradition Band was founded in 2001 by(myself) Denise Beaty, and my lifelong love of Country music . Born and raised on the Kentucky/Tennessee State line , surrounded by a musically god given talented family, It was just a matter of time that this chapter of my life was opened.All of my family members on my dad's side of the family either played an instrument or was a singer.My grandfather was a music teacher,but he died before I was born. My late dad was a member of a southern gospel quartet, church music leader and he was requested by many families to sing at funerals. MY late brother Morris and his late wife Norma Butler were known throughout the South for their singing abilities and touched so many families. My brother David Butler and his sons Logan and Troy sing together, play several instruments, and continue the family legacy. Then there's my daughter Olivia and I, we both sing and play guitar and keyboard. Songwriting is my passion and I am a lycrist and melody writer. I wrote a song "A Kid Again" that was performed live by Ben "Cooter" Jones and the Duke cast at the Opry and Dukefest 2007 in Nashville last June. That was a dream come true for this Country girl!!! All of my songs need homes with country music stars, the songs keeps the stars shining!!! all of my songs are copywritten and demoed professionally in Nashville at The Bayou Recording Studio by my best buddies there. I am also a BMI member. If you are an artist thats interested in any of my songs please let me know through this email. Music is a gift from God and I plan on encouraging and nuturing my grandchildren who have the gift. Let your light shine, Don't hide it under a bush!!!! |
