| Cyrus Phantasm (Thomas Lovelace) is a music producer, engineer and songwriter. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York he started as a DJ at the age of 15. As a DJ he did shows and parties at places like Jasmine’s, Club Excreta and Sweetwater’s. After about 5 years Cyrus realized that his true calling was music production.Cyrus Phantasm received a certificate of completion from Select Sounds Studio for Recording Technologies using Protools in April of 2001. He’s recorded at several studios including Sessions (Buffalo), Starfields (Buffalo), Select Sounds (Kenmore) and The Cutting Room (NY, NY). He currently owns and operates his own production studio “Equilibrium”. He named his studio Equilibrium because he wants to level the playing field for artist with low budgets.Right now he is the owner and founder of Indie 2 Industry (www.indie2industry.com). He does freelance production and engineering for multiple local and international artists. Cyrus is also working with Expressed Entertainment, the how’s and why’s to be released at a future date. New Style Records/Eskimo Foundation is another organization with which Cyrus Phantasm moonlights.Cyrus has worked with several artist over the years to include Devilish Angel, L.E.F.T.Y., JA, Donnie Hazel, D-Rimes, Deep Fellons, Dave B., A-Mobb, Lyrical Butterfly and others. Other producers he works with are Wassaname, JA, Donnie Hazel and a host of other producers from DynamicProducer.com.He is currently working on albums for JA, Indie 2 Industry, and Lyrical Butterfly simultaneously. He is producing tracks for other artist in the industry and in his spare time Cyrus loves updating web pages and networking.Cyrus hopes to become a successful producer in the industry capable of helping others make it as well. His knowledge of the industry and his craft, his work ethic, and his determination are going to make it very hard to deny him in the months and years to come. |
