I will be changing my songs periodically with different ones. Check back often to listen in. Hi folks, Yes that is me singing on my demos. No I am not a professional singer. I only sang my demos for time and money reasons. Thanks to my brother Brad (the real musician) for adding all the music for me. I have sang in public since I was a teenager. I really love entertaining people. I am self taught on the guitar. (probably why I am not very good) The 1st time I heard Merle Haggard I said “I have got to learn to play a guitar”. So I went to the local Western Auto and bought my 1st guitar. LOL I now play an early 70s Ovation Custom Balladeer. Great guitar! I was raised with music in our house all my life. My 3 sisters all have sang & my brother has worked in the music business all his life. He now owns a recording studio. My Dad was a professional musician (steel guitar), playing many places including radio and television. It was so cool when I was old enough to actually jam with my dad. He would come down on vacation from K.C., and we would pick for hours a couple of different nights. I started writing seriously in the early 90’s. There is nothing like setting down with an idea and making it a song. I used to carry a hand recorder all the time for a quick phrase or tune so I could remember later. I have gotten out of bed at 3.00 am and went out on the porch to record an idea for a song. I am married to a great woman who has always helped with song ideas and as a listener. Just a quick tale. We were playing on weekends at a local jam we used to have for people just to enjoy themselves. The song “Let’s Be Alone Together”, I sang to her the first night I saw her in the crowd. It worked! She wound up marrying me. Anyway, I’m glad you stopped in and hope you enjoy listening. If you hear anything you are interested in recording, let me know. Anyway, that is a little bit about me so you know who I am. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
