Né en 1994 à Nice, FRACTION s’est imposé depuis comme l’un des groupes majeurs de la scène alternative européenne. Le groupe a vu des membres s’en aller (pour parfois revenir !), des nouveaux arriver, ses sonorités et influences évoluer mais la radicalité demeure une valeur fondamentale de FRACTION, dans la musique comme dans les textes. Le style du groupe (symbolisé par le sigle NRHC) peut se résumer ainsi : toujours debout ! Adeptes de la maxime « le style c’est l’homme », les membres de FRACTION ont ainsi toujours considérés que l’éthique de vie était encore plus importante que les idées (« combat politique ou social, le combat réel est la vie »). FRACTION a toujours été un groupe militant, ce qui explique peut-être sa longévité. Ainsi le groupe n’a jamais cédé aux logiques mercantiles et a été à l’origine de plusieurs initiatives associatives comme Bleu Blanc Rock ou Alternative-s Productions. Nato nel 1994 a Nizza, FRACTION si è imposto dopo come uno dei gruppi principali della scena alternativa europea. Il gruppo ha visto membri andarsene (a volte per ritornare!), nuovi di arrivare, il sue sonorita ed influenze evolvere ma la radicalita rimane un valore fondamentale di FRAZIONE, nella musica e nei testi. Lo stile del gruppo (simbolizzato dall'iniziale NRHC) si può riassumere così: sempre verticalmente! Seguaci del maxime “lo stile è l'uomo„, i membri di FRAZIONE hanno sempre considerato che l'etica di vita era ancora più importante delle idee (“combattimento politico o sociale, il combattimento reale è la vita„). FRAZIONE è sempre stato un gruppo militante, cosa che spiega forse la sua longevità. Il gruppo non ha mai ceduto alle logiche mercantili ed è stato all'origine di molte iniziative associative come Bleu Blanc Rock o Alternative-S produzioni. Born in 1994 in Nice, south of France, FRACTION has become one of the majors bands in European alternative scene. The band has seen some members leaving (and sometimes for coming back!), some new lads arriving, its sounds and influences evolve but radicality stays as the main value of FRACTION, in music as in lyrics. The band’ style (symbolised by the term NRHC) could be resumed as this: always standing up! Followers of the sentence “style is the man”, members of FRACTION have always considered that ethic of life was at least more important than ideas (“political or social fight, real fight is life”). FRACTION has always been a militant band, which could maybe explain its longevity.
