| This high octane, spring loaded hip-hop thriller follows the story of Oscar, a handsome Latino ex-gang member who turns his life around after the accidental death of both his parents. Left with the responsibility of raising his little brother Pedro with his beautiful girlfriend Angela by his side; he sets forth with the help of his crew to land a recording contract and make a name for himself in the cut-throat hip hop business. A chance encounter at a popular night club with the infamous Boss Hog (owner of Straight Pimpin’ records the hottest Latin hip hop label on the West Coast), leaves one of his crew members in critical condition and him signed to the label for the next decade placing him exactly where he wanted to be in the game.The seductions of fast women, expensive cars, briefcases full of money, and the slow tainting of his family, leads this top selling artist to discover that all that glitters is not gold. Through the tip off of a rival studio head, he exposes some disturbing evidence of the company’s conspiracy to murder their top artists for higher record sales. When he uncovers that he’s next on their list he begins his plan of escape, only to be stopped dead in his tracks by Boss Hog and his goons. His attempt to flee now unveiled, they do everything in their power to annihilate him and his family.
