Madonna - 4 minutes (Laidback Luke Quick Mashup) 27 may Laidback Luke presents Nighttime Superheroes [23rd of May] We are very proud to have presented the 2nd edition of Laidback Luke presents Nighttime Superheroes, and what a night it was. Laidback Luke’s own fantastic night at Paradiso with a strong line up from Bart B More and Joachim Garraud to Luke’s own forum DJs who rocked the basement of Paradiso, which made the night a one to remember. The follow up of the outstanding and successful 1st edition had to be better and stronger and that’s what exactly Laidback Luke made to be. A fully packed Paradiso shaking to the beats of superhero DJs was the result of this night that went on till the early hours of Saturday morning. Starting up the spectacle with Bart B More, couldn’t be better to set the vibe. After that it was time for the host of the night to spin his phenomenal tunes with his superhero outfit. Laidback Luke dropped his amazing tracks one after another rocking the foundation of Paradiso. If that wasn’t enough, his performance was also crowned by the one and only MC Willie Wartaal of the “De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig” who also took the night to another level with his MC skills. Not to forget the incredible and futuristic moves of the Tecktonik dancers from France called Eklasiast who were in The Netherlands for the first time. That wasn’t the only premier of the night. The mighty Joachim Garraud was up next for the first time performing in Paradiso and what a debut time it was. It was one of those performances that will not be forgotten soon. Joachim Garraud live in action mixing his amazing tracks with his keyboard around his neck and his alien mask on, was one of the highlights of this already memorable night. These performances weren’t the only amazing ones. There was more going on in Paradiso. Laidback Luke’s own forum and recruited super talent DJs, Kenny McLean, Fuser and Rubix, were also doing an incredible job in taking the vibe of the night to a whole another level. A very big THANK YOU to all those who made this incomparable night happen and lots of love and peace for all your unconditional love and support… Couldn’t have done it without you. A producer and DJ with immense talent, tonnes of spirit and a steely determination to succeed, he has been on a worldwide search for the ultimate in dancefloor energy since the mid-1990s. "Music is an amazing tool that can evoke powerful memories and emotions," says Luke with a smile. "And I will not rest until I've given my best: I want to share as much music as possible with as many people as possible." And in 2006, with an incredibly impressive discography of 100+ recordings and a DJ diary that takes him from his studio near Amsterdam to clubs all over the world, including Pacha and Space (Ibiza), Ministry of Sound (London), Industria (Antwerp) and Opium (Miami), it would seem that Luke is well on the way to achieving his goals. In 2006 Luke has been bang into the hot sounds of the 'Swedish house mafia'. Discovering that he shared many influences with Steve Angello, the two hit-makers first met on the www.laidbackluke.com forum in 2003, trading MP3s online before finally meeting face to face at the Miami WMC in 2004. They have remained buddies ever since and Luke's remix of Sexy F**k for Steve's label Size and his cool collaboration with Steve titled Otherwize Then (unleashed on Sebastian Ingrosso's label Refune) have been hammered by top jocks around the world. Indeed, Luke is on fire right now and is preparing for further collaborations when he returns to Stockholm at the end of the year.
