Bio's are gully, & I don't like talking about myself, but here goes. DR has been around since the end of 2003. Formed between Mike Sereno & Dave Gross. We put out an EP called 'the subway demos' in 2004, appropriately titled, since we played weekends in the NYC Subway, & the Jones Beach boardwalk. it featured a cover of the Patti Smith & Don Henley song, 'sometimes love just ain't enough'. We recruited our long time friend Dave Bauer to play bass, & Roger Eisenhardt would later join on drums. We released a full length cd, entitled '...the lost years' in mid 2005. 'The lost years' is a term Dave & I used to refer to the years during high school where we had lost touch. We all had some creative differences, & currently DR is a solo project, with live members. Since becoming solo Mike has put out an acoustic EP, entitled 'open chords for closed hearts', a split cd with Dave's new band, Right as Rain, & there is a new full length due out July 1, 2008. The working title has been 'Regression,' but that will surely change. The current released are available on iTunes, amazon.com, & other such digital retailers. The band has played countless shows, opening for many national acts along the way, with no end in sight. "With such emotion in their music, the road is wide open for Diminishing Returns.
