| Il progetto Grandmabug rinasce nel Gennaio 2005 con una rinnovata formazione
e sound che vede l'entrata di: 2 nuove chitarre (Nicola Battistelli - Mattia Piccinetti) batteria (Luca Roscini) e basso (Luca Follega) che stravolgono il
vecchio stile funk / acid jazz catapultandolo verso un rock-crossover melodico
di forte ispirazione a grppi come : Incubus , Korn , Limp Bizkit e Deftones con
molte sfumature hip-hop , D&B.
Dopo un breve ma intenso periodo dedito solo ed esclusivamente alla composizione dei nuovi brani , la band ha occasione di proporli condividendo diverse serate assieme ad altri gruppi della zona fanese (Standing Still , Peeled Guns , Attenti al Gallo ecc.. ) aprendo inoltre concerti di bands come Cattive Abitudini ed Invasione degli Omini Verdi.
Nel Dicembre 2005 iniziano le registrazioni del primo album FLOATING POINTS che
comprendera' nove tracce originali ed un apprezzatissimo riarrangiamento , in
chiave molto personale , di HEY JOE tratta dalla celebre versione di Jimi Hendrix.
Nel periodo successivo alle registrazioni i Grandmabug partecipano ai concorsi di
FANOTE EDIZIONE 2006 di Fano (PU) e KOSAROCK FESTIVAL 2006 di Montecosaro (MC) rientrando tra le prime 15 band finaliste su oltre 150 partecipanti ; inoltre un' esibizione presso il BOULEVARD ROCK CLUB di Misano Adriatico (RN) e numerose esibizioni presso il BACHELOR MUSIC CLUB di Fano (PU) e presso il CRAZY HOUSE MUSIC CLUB di Fano (PU).
In ultimo si segnala che i Grandmabug sono tra le bands emergenti segnalate da
