Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting The history beginns in octobre 1995 at the cultural squat "Kulturfabrik" in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. Toxkäpp! (the stubborn ones) start out as an Oi! Band with luxemburgish lyrics. The founding members Fräntz (Bass), Gilbert (Drums), Patrick (Gitar) and Frank (vocals) enjoy the luxemburgish scene with their Punk songs and beer for free!As their style moved into Ska, still with luxemburgish lyrics, 3 other musicians join the band: Pit (Saxophone), Tunn (Organ) and Sam (Trombone).The Toxkäpp! Fan-community made the same evolution: From a small group of 'Pogo-People' to a large Skankin' crowd!To be continued........L’histoire commence en octobre 1995 au squat culturel « Kulturfabrik » à Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg). Toxkäpp! (en luxembourgeois « les têtus ») débutent entant que groupe de Oi! avec des textes luxembourgeois. Les membres fondateurs Fräntz (Bass), Gilbert (Drums), Patrick (Guitare) et Frank (vocales) amusent la scène luxembourgeoise avec leurs chansons Punk et en distribuant de la bière gratuitement durant leurs concerts!Comme leur style a évolué vers le Ska, toujours avec des textes luxembourgeois, 3 autres musiciens ont joint le groupe : Pit (Saxophone), Tunn (Orgue) et Sam (Trombone).Les fans des Toxkäpp! ont évolué avec le groupe ! De quelques gens faisant du « Pogo », à une petite foule de quelques centaines de personnes dansant le Ska !Histoire à suivre……. |
