Some say music is a form of expression, and that a piece of the artist is in every song. Well that statement has never been more true as in the case of Switchthree. This group first stepped onto the St. Louis music scene in 2002 and immediately people knew that there was something special about these guys. Along with their unique sound, Switchthree has a live show that truly rivals the best names in the business today. No club is too small or too big for this musical giant from the suburbs of St. Louis County. These guys never think that they are too big, or too good for anyone or any situation. Switchthree usually performs to sell out crowds in the St. Louis area, and has performed at World famous clubs such as The Roxy in Los Angeles. Every member of this group has made his own contribution to the unique style and sound that makes the band everything that it is today. The lead singer Dan Chandler has a voice that will captivate even the most cynical of critics. Mike Gibsons immaculate guitar work is something rarely found in todays mainstream music. Drummer Mike McClure plays like he has four arms and might as well be a human metronome. Sean Winkles stage presence will draw anybodys eyes to the stage and keep them captivated throughout the entire show. Pete Wagner provides the low end, filling the pocket with precission as if he invented it, not to mention backing vocals that could take center stage in any venueSwitchthree was named best local band on 105.7 FM "The Point" in St. Louis. They were voted one of the top 10 bands on the Unsigned Music Network. Corner Band voted them one of the top 5 local bands in the World. They were also voted the ..1 most likely band to get signed out of St. Louis on GTP-Inc. But probably the most fun of all accomplishments was when Dan appeared on the MTV show Score" with Ryan Cabrera, and won. Switchthree has sold close to 12,000 copies of their debut EP in the St. Louis area alone. This is definitely a band that should be taken seriously.Switchthree is currently hard at work writing new material for a new album project that will soon have the boys spending most of their time in the studio recording their very first international release.
