| Nepente is a death/black metal band founded in Manizales by January 2003 at the time the musicians Jose Fernando Ospina: Vocals, Juan Pablo Buitrago: Guitars, Esteban Daza: Guitars, Wilmar Correa: Bass and Mauricio Aristizábal: Drums, gathered themselves to take place a project with a new wave for the Colombian scene. After several shows all over the country, Nepente recorded its first MCD named ..Ascension.. by the year 2005. Nowadays, the band is working on the process of a new recording that would probably be ready by the middle of 2007. Lately some songs of the band has appeared in some compilations in their home country and in the U.S. and the band has been airplayed in metal radio stations in the U.S.,other songs will appear in international metal compilations in the U.S and in FranceNepente contact:nepentemanizales@yahoo.comwww.myspace.com/nepente |
