Desde sus inicios en Agosto 2002 COATL no ha parado de tocar puertas y promover su música, la cual cita texturas de Metal, Goth, y Rock clásico. Entre sus influencias musicales se pueden encontrar bandas legendarias como, Black Sabbath al igual que bandas innovadoras como Rammstein, Lacuna Coil, Kittie, & System Of A Down. En el 2005 la banda firmo su contrato con la distribuidora Verdad & Justicia, y participa en el Álbum Tributo A Rage Against The Machine, el cual los llevaría en una gira promocional por toda la costa Oeste de la Unión Americana. En el 2006 COATL lanza al mercado su álbum debut titulado “El Despertar De La Serpiente” el cual esta disponible en tiendas y iTunes. COATL también cuenta con el video musical de su sencillo “Flor De Muerto” el cual se encuentra en rotación en varios programas de videos musicales. Debido a la diversidad de su música la banda ah participado en varios festivales musicales al igual que ferias comunitarias, y ah tenido presentaciones en diversos programas de Televisión & Radio. COATL ah tenido la oportunidad de presentarse en varios antros, clubs, y arenas de diferentes estados, entre ellos Pico Rivera Sports Arena, The Key Club, Hard Rock Cafe, The Whisky A GoGo, Sharkies, y BB Kings por mencionar algunos. Durante su trayectoria COATL ah tenido la oportunidad de alternar con varias bandas reconocidas tales como: Transmetal, Leprosy, El Tri, Liran’ Roll, Banda Bostik, Heavy Nopal, Lvzbel, Tierra Santa, Rebeld’ Punk, La Gusana Ciega, Pastilla & Volumen Cero. En la Actualidad COATL se encuentra trabajando en nuevo material para su siguiente Álbum el cual se espera ser lanzado en el 2008.
