When the ancestors of the Azteca/Mexica people left Aztlan and journeyed South to create the beautiful city of Tenochtitlan (modern day Mexico City) they spoke the Nahuatl language. To this day, Nahuatl is one of the largest language groups spoken by the Native peoples of North America. Anahuak is a Nahuatl word meaning "the land surrounded by water" and is an original name of Turtle Island (North America).^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^WHO IS ANAHUAK DESIGNS?
