I'm also a self taught oil painter and photographer with special emphasis in the music industry. Artistic individuals reside on both sides of my family tree. I remember taking my first photo of my mother when I was six years old. I used my dad's Instamatic camera. My uncle taught me how to blend crayon colors together by using a low heat when I was six. I have memories of my aunt taking me to her college art classes around the same age. That was the foundation of my art training. My formal art training started when I was in sixth grade and progressed to include photojournalism and yearbook editing by high school. I believe that I inherited my sense of fashion from my mother. She taught me how to sew on a machine an early age. She would have me measured all the time for new suits. I was shy, well-mannered, little kid that the ladies thought was so cute. I liked the attention I received. I believed that eventually led me to pursue a career in fashion design. I know that God is real and that he has blessed me with a talent. I'm old enough to understand that everyone has God-given talents but not everyone exploits there talents to the fullest. If you would like to exploit my talents as well hit me up. Click pic below 4 Devin the Dude! Turhan Rhodes II is a 34-year-old artist climbing his way through the national entertainment community by way of Houston, Texas. Mr. Rhodes was recently featured in the March, 2006 edition of the hip-hop entertainment magazine, .."The Source..". He was mentioned with acknowledgment to the alum cover of the Houston rapper and internationally known solo artist, .."Scarface..", A.K.A, .."DJ Action..". The new project is named, .."The Product- One Hunid..". Turhan was accredited with .."The Product.." groups creative cover and a plethora of other envelope shots, displaying the chronicles of the group culmination prior to the release of the highly anticipated album. Turhan, as well, is a talented, self-taught painter, aside from a skilled photographer, with many works, from biographical-portraits to an ingenious style of his own. Turhan has always been a creative individual stemming from his childhood with the advancement to the completion from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida, where he earned a degree in Fashion Design in 1999.
