| PLEASE NOTE - We are not a "real" band. Real bands rehearse, hope to get signed, actually get paid, and stay sober. We're not that. We're a group of guys with dayjobs who really like to get onstage and have a great time. At this point, we are basically a er...um... live-hip-hop-mashup-cover-tribute band. Yeah, thats it. Whatever. Point is, we will basically mix two or more completely unrelated songs together until its something that both makes us laugh and has a funny title. At that point, we will usually spend 10-15 seconds playing it and we high-five. Then, I (Alon) learn the lyrics and we play it at a show. This usually works with me yelling the chords at Hugo and Minh and counting off the timing to whomever happens to be playing drums. Then we usually take a shot. Or two. I think the best way to describe our band is this: we are a LOT more fun than we are good. If you come out to our show, you are not going to be impressed with our musicianship, but you will have a hell of a time.Origin of the band: This whole thing started when I went to a Christmas party sometime in 2003 and brought a guitar. A guy there ran an open mic night and asked me to play. I did and had a great time. A pretty girl then asked me to learn a song by Usher. I thought she was crazy, but she was pretty so I learned it. next week, a song by J-Kwon. Anyway, next thing I knew, I was playing one hour shows with a bunch of goofy requests people had emailed to me. Then, I started playing the same show downtown and added Minh, Hugo, and finally Jeff and our lineup was complete. The fact that he doesn't have a stretch Escalade with a Jacuzzi in it pisses me off. He is a complete bad ass. Influences: Public Enemy, Abba, Vanilla Ice, Britney Spears, 50 Cent, Eric Clapton, Manudo, White lion, Bel Biv Divoe, Sex Pistols, Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Simpson's boobs, beer, pretty women, women who are pretty when we're drunk, and shots. Honestly, our music sucks too bad to have real influences, but if you REALLY want to know why we're in a band: Sounds Like: Sounds like?!?!? crap... I have no idea.
