| After wowing audiences with his breathtaking performances, and angelic voice. Shayne, aged 22 and former Sales Assistant from Clayton Manchester, became the peoples champion of the hit ITV show The X-Factor in 2005. Hailed as 'The next biggest male recording artist in the country' he's already a star, and set for great things.Shayne, is the youngest son of a very large family. He has 3 brothers, Mark 29, Martin 28 and Michael 27. He also has 3 sisters, Lisa 24, his twin Emma 22 and the youngest is Leona 18.Shayne has always sung, but started taking it really seriously when he joined a band at 16, gigging every Friday and Saturday night. He and another female vocalist from the group both auditioned- Shayne made it through but she didn't...The X Factor isn't Shayne's first experience of TV- he reached the final 30 of Pop Stars: The Rivals when he was only 16.Shayne's debut single That's My Goal won the race for Christmas number 1 by an absolute landslide!Despite only being released on the Wednesday, the single just flew off the shelves; the download version, which was available almost immediately after The X Factor result was announced, also played a big part, and is comfortably the fastest selling UK download track ever.Huge thanks to everyone who's supported Shayne through buying the singles and Albums so far. | |
