| I started playing music at the ripe old age of 8(1970)with the clarinet at Porter Gaud high school,Loving music ,but not really feeling the clarinet , my Mother bought a new album(because cd's were along way off and cassette players were very expensive) in 1972 ,it was Led Zepplin II, and she said "Here Mark listen to this" the next day I got a job and saved all the money over that summer I could and bought a used Fender Mustang ,and I learned the whole Zepp II album,then Zepp 4, Black Sabbaths Paranoid, then Bostons 1st album, then in 1977 , I saw VAN HALEN!!!!!!!!!, and I was blown away, I knew what I wanted to do with my life, and I have been on the constant dream chase ever since and I will chase it until Im dead !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was lucky to be alive and playing during the guitar explosion years(78-88) , and found so many influences such as Ratt , Yngwie Malmsteen ( who absolutely burns a guitar neck to the truss rod), and to many others to name , and I just wanted to say thanx to my Mother for uncovering the stone that has led to what you see on the stage (guitar wise), and to all of you who appreciate a life long construction in progress THANX FOR YOUR SUPPORT wmode="transparent" |
