The roots of the four-piece metal-bulldozer Diablo go back to 1987, to the west coast of Finland. The band was signed in 2000 and recorded its debut album ELEGANCE IN BLACK. Two years after that, Diablos sophomore effort, RENAISSANCE, debuted at position ..14 on the official Finnish album chart and became one of the most outstanding Finnish metal albums for a long time.
ETERNIUM, released in 2004, was the most awaited Diablo album ever. The structures were sharpened on this third album; sound was more carefully considered and there were more melodic songs with guitars tuned to extremely low B. Eternium was the hardest and most praised metal album in Finland, 2004. Read My Scars single hit charts Top5 and stayed there for over six weeks, the album rocketed to number 3 and kept the place in charts over ten weeks. The video was voted number one on a national tv music show Levyraati.
The clock is ticking and its time to welcome Diablos fourth album MIMIC47 to the world. The title track was released as a single in November and it reached immediately the ..1 position on the Finnish single chart and kept the pole position for weeks. The video of the title song has been broadcasted on many tv channels and the clubs play the single like hell. The material consists of the tight playing, genius guitar riffs, great melodies and the attitude only finnish men can have - caused by living in a dark and cold north 24/7! Diablo is for example taking Finnish Skiing federation and doping under discussion in their songs. Definitely an interesting topic! Mimic47 will be THE album taking the finnish metal scene to new heights 2006.
Diablos biggest influences come from old-school-metal (Testament, Death etc.) that blend nicely with their fresh approach and furious attitude, a combination that has made them one of the darkest hopes of the famous Finnish metal scene.

Die Wurzeln unseres Vier-Mann-Metal-Bulldozer DIABLO reichen zurck bis in das Jahr 1987 an die Westkste Finnlands. Die Band wurde im Jahr 2000 gesigned und nahm ihr Debtalbum ELEGANCE IN BLACK auf. Zwei Jahre danach stieg DIABLO's zweiter Versuch RENAISSANCE auf Platz 14 der Offiziellen Finnischen Album Charts ein und wurde fr eine lange Zeit zu einem der bemerkenswertesten Finnischen Metal-Alben.
ETERNIUM, verffentlich 2004, war das meisterwartete DIABLO-Album berhaupt. Die Strukturen auf diesem Album waren geschrft; der Sound sorgfltig abgewgt und es gab mehr melodische Songs mit runtergestimmten Gitarren. ETERNIUM war das hrteste und hochgelobteste Metal-Album in Finnland 2004. Die Single "Read My Scars" chartete Top5 und hielt sich fr ber 6 Wochen, whrend das Album bis rauf auf Platz 3 schoss und ber 10 Wochen in den Charts blieb. Das Video wurde sogar auf Platz 1 der Nationalen TV-Music-Show Levyraati gewhlt.
Die Uhr tickt und es ist Zeit DIABLO's viertes Album MIMIC47 in der Welt willkommen zu heien. Das Titelstck wurde im November vergangenen Jahres als Single verffentlicht und hielt sogleich fr 3 Wochen die Pole Position der Offiziellen Finnischen Single Charts und war fr ein paar weitere Wochen in den Top Ten. Das Video zu diesem Track wurde auf vielen TV-Sendern gesendet und die Clubs spielen die Single ohne Ende. Das Material besteht aus strammen Spiel, genialen Gitarrenriffs, groartigen Melodien und der Attitde wie nur Finnische Menschen sie haben knnen darin begrndet, dass sie im dunklen und kalten Norden wohnen! DIABLO machen zum Beispiel die Finnische Ski Vereinigung und Doping zum Thema ihrer Songs. Eindeutig interessante Themen! MIMIC47 wird DAS Album um die Finnische Metal-Szene 2006 zu neuen Hhen zu fhren.
DIABLO's grte Einflsse kommen vom Old-School-Metal (Testament, Death, etc.) diesich hervorragend mit ihrem frischen Auftreten und ihrer wilden Attitde vermischen, eine Kombination, die sie zur dunkelsten Hoffnung der berhmten Finnischen Metal Szene macht.
