..and here is the new AUt0dIVINE Fanboy and Girl of the Month pic (Andreas and Anta). Photo was taken at the autodivine's live gig @ SOUL on the 7th March 2007. AUt0dIVINE is a band that plays a post-punk-glam amalgam and have written a demo describing the futuristic dystopian world of Introspective Fusion, who as leader of the Syndicate Revolution, tries to revolt against the totaletarian regime of Retrospective The concept album is played live (it features a story in year by year continuity - twelve songs all together) and the band dresses up as their respected characters, much in the glam way. The music can only be described as post-punk-glam. A book showcasing the illustrated lyrics/story of the concept will be released in 2007 (drawn by Con) and it shall also contain a cd that will include the concept album songs themselves as well as videos and other neat stuff You can check out some sample pages of the concept album at Con's website They have played live in Athens, Greece at the Underworld Club, AN Club, the Small Music Theatre and the Athens Summer Festival with bands like The Astronauts, Xiu Xiu, Fuse For Pekar, Victory Collapse, Since Time, Coin, Zebra Tracks, Mary and the Boy, My Sound Projector, Teen Heat, Wish Upon A Star, Whatever Happened To The All-Stars?, and more. The band AUt0dIVINE was formed in 2005. Below is a new video compilation of previous live shows and studio outakes from 2005-2007... in the backround the songs "Birth & the Teenage Years" and "The Final Countdown with Retro" can be heard: The opening track of our concept album, 'The World circa 2177', describes the situation on Earth in that particular year, where a totalitarian government rules all. These are the lyrics/words and opening shot/setting of our concept album: World 2177 (an intro to intros world) two hundred years / from the dear present / two hundred years / from the near now / a seamless headless corporation /bans all syndicates/unions in town and the man that leads the world at dawn / capitalist/controller of the Hairpawn / is none other than Retro Spective / a name, an allegory / inflictive /infective and yet hope is born / in the hapless eyes / of a child without scorn / alive and dead and yet reborn Retros rivals / are the masses themselves / amassed in the cerebral eyes of / Introspective Fusion / the babe/borne leader of the Syndicate Revolution. (2207-2211) Birth (& the Teenage Years) describes the first years of IntroSpective Fusion's life - the lead character in the concept- who leads a Syndicate revolution against the government. Also: Do listen to Major Tom's radio show at Athens International Radio 104.4FM Monday Through Friday at 18:45.
