THOMAS NAÏM is a French GUITARIST/COMPOSER/PRODUCER living in PARIS. He has recorded for lots of differents artists from electronic, world, rock, funk and jazz.
He has produced two albums of his own band "TOM & JOY", the first was released in 2002 and the last one "ANTIGUA" in June 2005 on the record company Yellow Productions. This last album features lots of amazing musicians like Tony Allen , Raphaël Chassin, François Faure , Linley Marthe , Airelle Besson , Jean Daniel Botta , Ludwig Gorhan , Inor Sotolongo , Olivier Ker Ourio , Guillaume Farley , Daniel Zimmerman , Jocelyn Mienniel , ... In the meantime he's playing live and collaborating with different artists from World Music, Jazz, Pop, Soul...: Hugh Coltman , Hindi Zahra , Idrissa Diop , Philemon , Shazz , BlackJoy , Sophie Delila , Ayoka ... He's a member/composer of the african/brasilian project "Mandé Bossa" with musicians and singers from Bamako (Mali), France and Brasil : Adama Yalomba, Nampé Sadio, Cristina Violle, Manjul... An album has been recorded last summer at Studio Bogolan in Bamako and will be release soon. Actually he's recording and touring wih moroccan singer Hindi Zahra and english singer Hugh Coltman and he's starting a new Fusion Band called "Les Chiffonniers" with the piano player François Faure, the bass player Philippe Bussonnet and the drummer Yoan Serra. |
