| A quick, sorted history... Dead Letter Room rose from the ashes of Cleveland's Decadent led by David Kay (vocals/guitar). Opening for the Killers, Longwave, Stellastarr*, and Danko Jones, the band finally disolved in late 2005 with members pursuing various other projects. In 2006, David Kay picked up the remains and began moving forward working with a variety of line-ups, from solo performances to drum-and-guitar to a four piece and has opened for Human Wine (featuring Brian Viglione of the Dresden Dolls), Gene Loves Jezebel, and The Black Hollies along the way. There were some drummers. Along came Chris Renner to play the keys (filling in the bass parts as well!). Things started sounding cool! More drummers... We discovered Steve and added him on guitar! And so returned Jonathan on drums (who played with DLR about a year before). Things are looking glossy! Post-Punk-Glam-Rock-Drone! |
