| 'Im Rigil, a little solo music maker from a small village called wootton. I lived in Bedfordshire (UK) for eighteen years, and now switch between two places. I study at Keele University and live in stoke on trent when im studying. I make music to find some sort of common ground. Switching between two places, its hard to define whats home. Music however doesnt change, its a something that remains the same wherever the location.'
'I never really used to use my voice when it came to my music. Im not overly confident with it which is why its kinda breathy and hushed. On the space there is only one vocal track (Free to Roam). Previously I only had a small fourteen quid microphone, so the quality isnt beautiful. I have recently been in the studio to record a non live version of 'Minefields', 'Full Circle', and a better quality version of 'Free to Roam'. Exciting times...' 'I use music as a form escapism. You can create your own little weird world and get lost within it. I like the thought of other people hearing the tracks, its like im offering them a seat into that world that summed up exactly how I felt at one particular moment in my life.'
