About Me

I'm a thirtysomething gal from North Jersey, originally from Sowfluffia (YO to anyone who recognizes immediately where that is). I am a business analyst by day, pest by night, other than that, I bring nothing to the table.

I decided to celebrate my big 38 by checking off a BIG item on my "to-do" list in life: SKYDIVE!

This is my winning performance at the Last Pest Standing event at the always wonderful F.H. Rileys (400 New York Avenue in downtown Huntington). Thanks to everyone and especially Taz for taking this video!

I am a
Social Liberal
(60% permissive)

and an...
Economic Conservative
(70% permissive)

I am best described as a:

My Interests

Computers, music composing and playing, animation, stand up comedy. Hubby and I love to travel and never get to do enough of it! I want to go to Antarctica before I die.

I'd like to meet:

Ann Coulter, so I can kick her in the nose. Or her junk, because I'm pretty sure she's a tranny.
Jimmy Norton, so I can pat him on the ass (DONE!)

Music:

Progressive Rock (Genesis, ELP, Pink Floyd, Rush). Lincoln's Brain (most underrated garage rock band of the 80s).

Movies:

Anything by Quentin Tarantino, Paul Rodriguez or David Lynch.

Television:

Simpsons, Family Guy, The Office, Adult Swim, Rescue Me, Battlestar Galactica.

Books:

Robert Heinlein, mostly classic SF and short stories from the 50s and 60s. If you know the story "The Stars My Destination" by Alfred Bester, you're my kind of person. And to balance out the geek, historical novels (no romance crap) especially James Michener.

Heroes:

Anyone who has the cojones to serve their country in the armed forces and when thanked, just says, "Just doing my job". You fucking rock and the fact that I'm not typing this in a burkah or before/after coming back from church is testament to what you do every day.

MaritalStatus: Married
Ethnicity: White / Caucasian
SexualOrientation: Straight
Hometown: South Philly
Religion: Atheist
Smoker: No
Drinker: Yes

My Blog

Liber est causa sui; e.g. "how I became an atheist"

I thought I'd share with everyone that not all atheists are religion haters or feel they were somehow "injured" by religion or God.  I find that stereotype  tiresome but it's such a pervasiv...

A few good quotes on atheism :)

"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Stephe...

The marriage amendment is anti-family, anti-conservative, anti-American. Period.

Any leader claiming that the protection of marriage necessitates its exclusion from some Americans perverts two treasured tenets of conservatism -- respect for states' rights and maintaining stable so...

Is it creepy that I think Oz Perkins is totally hot?

I was channel surfing and came across an episode of "Closer to Home".  Episode was about a serial killer that lived with his mom and killed people who apparently took away any of her time away fr...
