Talking about Roger M is talking about music. As a child he recieved influences of jazz, funk, soul, film’s soundtracks and classical music from his parents. At a short age, he started doing his own mixtapes with his double-deck recorder, and the moment he had the chance, he started making electronic music with his first computer. Some years later, evolving in the artistic area and also on the tecnique, he released his firts single, "Late Night Show", under Catch 22 Recordings (USA/New York) owned by Dj Disciple.

It was followed by a remix for Juan Magan’s "The Dawn" and during 2006, Roger M has released some of his works as a producer on labels like Malo Recordings (The Subversive EP) -receiving good reviews in England-, Chico Records (The Only One EP) and two remixes for M&T and Flashbeat Recordings. For the end of 2006 Roger released his third EP (Psychomagic Act EP) as the second release of Sutil Records digital label, followed by Pepe Arcade - X2, release, under Madrid’s renounned netlabel Antiritmo, including mixes by Hiroshi Oki and Roger M himself.

Roger M has been reviewed, interviewed or played in national and international media. He has been reviewed as a dj or producer in national media like 20 Minutos, La Vanguardia, El País, ABC, Antena 3 or Telemadrid and also on local or specialized magazines and radiostations like Scanner FM, D+ Magazine, Youthing or Nite Magazine. His music and sets have been played or reviewed online by ClubbingSpain, Balearity, Infofiestas, VinylSound, Deejays, DanceLatinoAmerica, Hot101 FM, Kremadelik FM or Lowlevel Radio.

After the evolution of his style, starting on disco and funk sonorities and flirting with breakbeat, to the electronic dance music, with a more futuristic or sci-fi mood, Roger M started to make noise in the most renouned booths of Barcelona along with his mix-partner Dj Nikto. They two founded the artistic collective Subversive Barcelona. Clubs like KGB where choosen for some of their Subversive Nights, where they showed his eclecticism and his habilities to mix diferent kinds of music. They have also played in important events such as eLife Forum Barcelona 2005 or Simo Madrid 2006 where they had the chance to show the works of their collective.

Nobody knows if its about his hands, his head or maybe his spicy paper rolls...but there is no doubt about the effect his music makes on people. Don’t lose track on him!
