L'Onomatopeur est né le 17 juillet 1986 à Nantes. Il ne découvre les sonorités électroniques qu'à l'âge de 13-14 ans avec les sons de Jean Michel Jarre ou encore Laurent Garnier, ce qui le pousse à s'équiper rapidement d'une boîte à rythme puis d'un sampler à l'âge de 16 ans. Il est notamment influencé par la scène drum'n'bass et big-beat Anglaise. A 18 ans en 2005, il sort un album du nom d'Always Beating (même nom que son émission de radio) distribué sous droit creative commons sur le site jamendo.com. Cet
album lui apportera beaucoup notamment la participation à des musiques de films (DVD de kayak de David Arnaud (meilleurs DVD européen et mondial de Kayak 2006), vidéos de skate du site Agoride, video de snowboard sur ESB production, Reportage sur envoyé special sur France 2, musique pour la SNCF...). En 2006 sort l'album Accumbens album plus travaillé et plus mature.
Actuellement L'Onomatopeur s'oriente plus vers des compositions s'inspirant de ses influences (Aphex Twin, Richar Devine, Autechre...)

L'Onomatopeur was born in 1986 in Nantes, France. He only discovered electronic music at the age of thirteen by listening to artists such as Jean-Michel Jarre and Laurent Garnier. This quickly convinced him to get a drum machine and then a sampler at 16. He is among others influenced by English drum'n'bass and big-beat styles. In 2005 he released the album "Always Beating" (named after his own radio program), which is distributed by Jamendo.com under creative common rules. This album gave him many opportunities
such as composing the soundtrack of extreme sports movies ( David Arnaud's kayak DVD best europeen an mondial DVD of Kayak, skateboard videos for the Agoride website, etc.). L'Onomatopeur give his new album "Accumbens" in 2006, with more work and mature
Actualy L'Onomatopeur go into some tracks inspired of his influence (Aphex Twin, Richar Devine, Autechre...)
