Phowa’s work is a fusion of numerous sources of inspiration and sonic pallets yet still maintaining a uniquely enigmatic and personal sensibility. His keen sense of texture and dynamics combine to create deeply immersive atmospheres blended with hypnotic melodic progressions grounded in heavy beats and thick basslines. phowa has been pushing bass heavy sounds up and down the west coast, appearing along side the likes of Skream, Loefah and Bassnectar. He has done remixes for Cheb I Sabbah and the Future Sound of London and has licenced music to films such as ’Scared Sacred’ and ’The Corporation’.
