| ..I have been beaten up, torn up, broken, batterd, bruised, used and abused. I have had the life ripped right out of my soul. I have had the sparkle taken from my eyes. I have had the light in my heart fade. I have had my once glowing aura...dimmed. I have been hollow, empty & numb. I have been humiliated, embarassed & ashamed...I have felt like there was no point to continue caring about others. I had given up on all things sacred. I had given up on loyalty, trust & hope. I have been at rock bottom. All that...and here I am, with the battle wounds, scars and cuts that remind me, I survived because I am strong. I made it through that treacherous valley of pain, and will make it through many more in my lifetime. So, meanwhile, I'll enjoy this hill. I'll continue to SHINE, GLOW, SPARKLE, DREAM, GIVE, CARE, TRUST, HOPE & LOVE again, because that's real...& that's what makes me tick. Birthdays, revelations, love, truth, family, travel, finding what you're looking for, being honest to what you want, and truly truly appreciating life and making an active effort at being the people we're destined to become. You can't forget the past but we can't hold on to them forever. If we never make room for improvement, for new memories, for new beginnings, for second chances, for new chances, for rekindling, or for any of the unknown, then we've sentenced ourself to our own deathly manifesting destiny that will inevitably kill our being, our insides, our soul. Take my hand, hold it tight. Love me completely, with all your might. I'll show you life, I'll share my view. I'll make you smile..make all things new. Don't be scared, don't be afraid...
