2006: A Third Wish set off on a mission to conquer the world with balls out heart! With some cheesy rock thing too. Bringing different influences from each member meant the music style was varied from all aspects of the scale. The band recorded their 1st demo locally at Stagg Studios before they started gigging. The band started gigging June 06 playing small local venues but rapidly building a following. A couple of months later the band played gigs out of town moving to London to build up a following. From then on they could see it would not be long before they was ’bang on it’ doing it full time. November saw the 1st A Third Wish EP ’How Do You Feel? which was recorded once again at the splegendary Stagg Studios. From this you could see that, the work the band had done over the year had really payed off. 2007: In 2007 the band had agreed to full on go for it and put their lives aside to do what they believed in and what they are truely passionate about. The band played as many gigs as they could at bigger better venues such as Clapham Grand and got their name on the bill for Strawberry Fair which opened its gates to 55,000 people. Getting interest from local hero David Holder lead to management which meant the band could concentrate on what really mattered instead of managing themselves. In June the band travelled to the Czech Republic and toured Prague for a week, which was not only an experience and a learning curve for the band but a great chance to get wasted and meet some great bands too. Besides playing in the world famous ’Bunker’ and Prague Rivertown Festival. When the band had arrived back in the UK they travelled down South to record a CD with a top producer at HL Studios in Southampton. They have played with and had the privalege of meeting some great bands to mension a few, Koopa, Linchpin, The Tommys. These are just a few you may have heard of but dont be affraid to check out the top ass bands in the top friends! 2008: 2008 will see the bands’ hard work continue with the lure of a summer tour back to the Czech Republic keeping them focused. Also on the cards is a trip in search of sunshine to the Mediterranean Island of Malta for a mini tour, scheduled for August. The year will also see more relentless gigging in and around the East of England focusing on the bright lights of London. The band were interviewed on Dream fm which went out 6 stations to over 60,000 people. With more radio inerviews in the bands schedule the band are on their way to conquering the airwaves. All you guys have kept us strong over the time we have been together and have encouraged us to keep going and writing tunes for your lil ears to hear. We would not be doing this if it wasnt for you guys! This is just the beginning guys lets see what 2008 has to offer! |
