LONDON CALLING PARTY-TOKYO THIS WEEK AT WETYOURSELF! PREVIOUSLY AT WETYOURSELF.. Hailing from Ireland, and residing in London for 10 years now, Cormac has emerged as one of the UK's hottest new DJ Talents. Working at Nag Nag Nag, the most original electro-techno club of the last 10yrs, he quickly became inspired to turn his hand to Djin. His first gig saw him supporting the then unknown Scissor Sisters at a South London Venue. Ever escalating forward, his sets have seen him help mould underground London into the soundscape it resembles today. Playing at seminal clubs such as Bugged Out ,Trailer Trash and of course Wetyourself. In a few fast years he has shared billing with such Dj Luminaries as Carl Craig, Erol Alkan, Andrew Weatherall, Ivan Smagghe, Ricardo Villalobos ,Boys Noize, and Justice. One quarter of Underground Hotspot Wetyourself (alongside Peter Pixzel and Jacob Husley), the last 16 months have been a whirlwind of exciting gigs and happenings. Dates in Brazil, Mexico Japan and Europe have meant that Cormac has been keeping busy bringing his unique artistic talent of mixing and music to the rest of the world. Wetyourself has managed to restore a vital late night underground hedonism to Londons Sundays that has been lacking in recent years, attracting such individual guests as Miss Kittin, The Hacker, Ellen Allien, Mr Oizo ,JoJo De Freq,Pig & Dan, Italo Boyz, Popof and Hannah Holland . Named by IDJ, as one of the Top 5 nights in London, Wetyourself continues to attract attention as the ultimate Sunday party in London, the city that never sleeps...The colourful club kid clientelle reminiscent of 1990's New York City. Inspired By the Neo Nineties, The future forwardness of the Noughties and the classic Pop sensibilty of the 80's Cormacs main focus outside of Playing Music, is now making Music. One half of underground music melody makers Cavalier, Cormac and Peter Pixzel combined their efforts to make the sinister electronic lullaby soundtrack to London Life.. Studio time spent alone, and with various producers ensure the imminent release of more material form this maverick unique Dj/Producer talent..
