When I discovered I could recreate a reasonable facsimile of Dame Edna, I began this incredible acting challenge and took up the Gladioli and the Wisteria hair and I do my best to honor and respect Mr. Humphries' character. I am flattered when people mistake me for Edna, but I am not trying to pass myself off as the real thing.
