My Interests |
| Making MySpace layouts and, of course, web design plus pretty much anything else to do with computers and the internet. I also love classic video games like Command & Conquer Red Alert, Tekken 3, X-Com and Resident Evil 1 (the latter of which I can complete easily in under two hours [no cheating either]. I also completed it with the Jill character using only the knife...).. | |

Music:Nine Inch Nails, Public Enemy, PIL, Nirvana, Laurie Anderson, Faith No More, Ice T, Jane's Addiction, Robert Fripp, Monster Voodoo Machine, Pop Will Eat Itself, Rage Against the Machine, Skinny PuppyPLUS... Most classic rock like: Deep Purple, Bowie, Alice Cooper, Rush, Genesis, Supertramp, Pat Travers, Robin Trower, Queen, Elton John, Boston, Frank Zappa and more... And while we're on the subject, here's my... TRIBUTE TO THE DEARLY DEPARTED DEPT. ~ JIM MORRISON "Desperately in need of some stranger's hand in a desperate land..." FRANK ZAPPA "I got a girl with a little rubber head. Rinse her out every night just before I go to bed..." JANIS JOPLIN "Have another little piece of my heart now, baby..You know you got it, child, if it makes you feel good..." JOHN LENNON "When they've tortured and scared you for 20 odd years. Then they expect you to pick a career..." SID VICIOUS "You just pick up a chord, go twang, and you've got music..." BON SCOTT "It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll.." JIMI HENDRIX "It's too bad that our friends can't be with us today..." And not exactly 'classic rock' but I still miss this guy... KURT COBAIN "With the lights out, it's less dangerous..." Movies:Favourite childhood movies:The Italian Job (1969) The Great Escape The Guns of Navarone The Magnificient Seven In the Heat of the Night All time favourite movies released after 1980: Platoon Point Break To Live and Die in L.A. Rush The Last Castle Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? The Passion of the Christ Favourite comedies: The Mask Beetlejuice Favourite tearjerker: Dead Poet's Society (...uhhh... not that I like this kind of stuff... it's just that uh... like uhhhh... *ahem*... [oh crap... there goes my macho image...] ).. Favourite gangster film: Miller's Crossing Favourite Sci-Fi: Aliens Terminator 2: Judgement Day Favourite martial arts movie: Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior (By far, hands-down, best martial arts movie made EVER. Absolute MUST-SEE. Well worth any inflated price being charged for the DVD. Opening scene alone will blow you away...) Favourite horror films: Silence of the Lambs The Blair Witch Project (Blair Witch was the only movie that genuinely scared the sh*t out of me... Until I found out the truth, that is... Can't comment any further 'cuz I don't wanna spoil it for you if you haven't seen it yet...) |
Television:I don't have cable so I pretty much watch whatever they throw at me that's halfway decent which boils down to mostly movies and any CFL game but I also enjoy:The Red Green Show The Simpsons King of the Hill Family Guy American Dad Frasier (okay don't laugh... like I said whatever they throw at me)... HOWEVER... Lately I've discovered how neat these 'complete season' DVD sets are so I started out with Season One of The Shield which is absolutely awesome. Watched it three times through already. This show is gritty, controversial, contains a cast of excellent actors and there's tons of action. Best cop show EVER (starting to sound like the comic book guy from the Simpsons... *chuckle*...). It also introduced me to a Kid Rock song called Bawitdaba (check my music player to have a listen) which was used in a music montage at the end of the first episode. Needless to say, I quickly ran out and bought Season Two. Rifled through that in about four or five nights... My parents bought me Season Three for Christmas last year. Rifled through that in about four or five nights (Re: Episode 5.... eeewwww!!! GROSSSS! ... *shudder*...)... Got Season Four for Christmas this year (thanks Mom!).. This show is freakin' off the hook...! |
Books:Books? Hmmm... Lessee... when was the last time I actually read a book...? .... Oh wait a minute, yes... Programming language manuals like Javascript, Perl and whatnot.. Yessiree, fascinating bedtime reading fer sure..... |

Heroes:The 1 billion people on the face of this planet who live without access to a cup of clean drinking water. They have my sincere props. Meanwhile, most of us with MySpace pages splash gallons of clean drinking water all over ourselves everyday just in order to smell nice.I would also like to honor all those (close to 3 billion individuals) who live on less than 2 bucks a day. |
