| As one looks out beyond the sea of lead singer, there is a fresh wind of change stirring in the distance. Anthony Avila brings forth a voice of intensity marked with a raspy hunger that allows the listener to venture deeply into his soul. A soul filled with an all-consuming thirst for musical interpretation and integration. Anthonys performance is raw and true to his nature revealing his talent as a multi-faceted singer, songwriter, guitarist, piano,drums and lyricist.Born and raised in central California, Anthony experienced his first rush of live performance at the age of 15, which seared his life-long devotion to music. He developed his craft over the years training with various Los Angeles based vocal teachers, although being on the road provided him with the most invaluable and practical experience that money just cant buy. As he evolved his talent and musical endeavors, Anthony found himself touring both as a solo artist and as a member of various bands traveling through the United States, Anthony is currently paired up with several band mates who are recording a soon to be released album at Sound Select Studios in New York. The music is an eclectic style of rock and roll that screams with a prophetic message of faith, hope and love, perpetuating a positive outlook in the grim face of todays realities.Anthony Avila is a heart-felt rock-n-roll warrior and a hopeless romantic who would perish without the gift of music pulsing through his veins. As a true artist he creates a world of insight that we sometimes miss in the mainstream.
