| I'm just an ordinary guy (or as my teenage daughters say "boring old hippie") who like to go to concerts and enjoy the show and myself.
Life is too short to listen to bad music. So I try to find good music; music that's made and performed with heart, soul and passion. Live music has always been an essential part of my life. Therefore I try to attend as much concerts as I can. I also like to take pictures at concerts, and because I'm dying for live-music, I also like to tape shows. I'm recording mostly by a patch to the soundboard and sometimes with microphones from inside the audience. I'm spreading these recordings to make people more aware of the wonderful music that happens right here & now. So I never sell these recordings, I'll give them away just as I've got them, as a gift from the musicians. I stopped going to "big shows" since a while, not only because I don't like to be an anonymous ant in a +5.000 crowd in stadiums & arenas; I'm also disgusted by impudent ticket prices around and above 100 Euros. But the main reason is, that I stronly believe the most interesting and exiting music nowadays is happening in clubs & bars & little festivals, made by "independent" artists who need to "fight" to become more noticed. btw: If you like to know where i'm strolling around, see my concert calendar, you will probably meet me at these dates. I haven't changed the music here for a while, so I thought it may be time to present you some songs I've recorded at my favourite place here in Berlin, the wonderful "Berlin Guitars". If you like this music, get off of your sofa, switch off the TV, buy a ticket and support live-music in one of the many places our musicians are playing! Do it NOW ! Or at least this week, you never know ....... .. |
