About Me |

UPCOMING SHOWS: I’m dedicated to creating music that moves the mind, body, and spirit of the audience. And to let the music flow and evolve naturally, without the limitations of the commercial music world. I believe in the healing and spiritual power of music, sound, and vibration....and its ability to unite us all....the divine art. Using 6 string, upright, and MIDI basses...acoustic/electronic drums and percussion...and theremin....I fuse elements of classical, jazz, progressive rock, heavy metal, and world/tribal music. Checkout my solo album, Meaningful Sounds, which contains 13 original tracks of composed and improvised music. "Meaningful Sounds is appropriately titled, I was captivated by the melodies. My being felt a sense of tranquaility while listening. Mermaid brought me to tears, it was so beautiful. It’s been quite awhile since a cd has moved me like this. I regret taking so long to check it out." from Rachael. "This CD is a must have for ANY music lover. I have seen Jonesy live and experienced the energy that his music resonates, and this CD captures that same feeling. The bass in every song shakes me to the core!" from Tina G. "I really enjoy this cd. It’s nice to hear awesome bass in a more peaceful sense. Pretty much all good stuff. I recommend it those who can really appreciate bass in every style/type of music." from Tess "If you’re really fascinated by musicians that push the envelope, then I highly recommend this record. As a bassist, I’ve always enjoyed the music this musician has put together." from Ellis T. JONESY’S OTHER DISCOGRAPHY: |
