OK..well here we go I love to write and I love to sing. I write for my life. If I could not write poetry or prose or blog or fill my diary pages, then I would surely perish. Singing is in a tie for first place with writing :) I was formerly lead vocalist for a band called KOMPANI and have 3 cds with that group. I've had the privilege of opening for Gerald Albright, David Sanborn (3 times), Norman Brown, Alex Bugnon, Stanley Clark, The Rippingtons, Euge Groove, Steve Oliver, Rick Braun, and Gato Barbieri. The ReBirth is coming! I'm happier now than I've ever been. I finally know what it's like to love and be loved by a child of my own. Never thought I'd see motherhood, but God said yes when the doctors all said no. AMEN! I also know what it's like to love a real black man who makes it his business to love me beautifully. In the words of Aretha "Said I neva...no I ain't neva...loved a man the way that I...I love you". He's so good to me and has taught me how to love myself and the gift that is in me.
