| Howdy. This is my first recording. I used to drum in Essex's finest lo-fi pop band, Hirameka Hi-FI and we knocked out a couple of albums and some 'critically acclaimed' singles on the mighty Gringo Records (www.gringorecords.com), and had the honour of recording two Peel sesssions.These two songs were recorded by James at Unit One in Colchester late in 2005, with my loyal companion Steve from the band 'Fans of Kate' (www.fansofkate.com) playing loud electric guitar bits, whilst I took care everything else of melodica, xylophone, and banging on a wine bottle with drumsticks.I've been called 'as mournful as Damon Albarn' by Channel 4, which I think is a good thing, and you can hear the MP3's on the BBC Radio One OneMusic site, 'cos they played my songs.
