| Note I plan to live to be a wise woman and have many more stories to tell at the age of 100, however I am not 100, my age remains a slight mystery. I plan to smile always!!Tracy Danielle Robinson has more than 15 years of experience as a Los Angeles-based freelance director and producer. She studied communications at Central State College in Ohio and West Los Angeles College, and later took courses in filmmaking at AFI (American Film Institute) Extension and UCLA Extension. Today, she is widely known in the entertainment industry for her bold, poignant, and cutting edge music videos. Over the past decade, she has increasingly garnered praise for her artistry that reveals the sensitive and humane side of hip hop life.Ms. Robinson has director/production credits for more than 120 music videos, 10 films, 20 television shows, 20 commercials, and numerous legal documentary videos. She has held professional positions at Fragile Films, Propaganda, Two Headed Monster, and Squeak Pictures. In 1992, she formed, Look Hear, her first production company, that focused on R&B. Alternative music, and hip hop.Today, Ms. Robinson is focused on making a seamless and successful transition from music video director/producer to feature film director. There is a precedent for her goal. Music Video Directors such as F. Gary Gray, Antoine Fuquoa, Brett Ratner and McG have all reinvented themselves into artistically and commercially successful feature film directors. In addition to her hands-on work as a director/producer, Tracy Robinson's experience in feature film production have given her a firm and practical understanding of many facets of the movie industry. Ms. Robinson's prolific accomplishments and multi-tasking skills in both the music and film industries leave her well-poised to move gracefully into feature film directing.She looks forward to being involved with films that have a strong message with the music to support the storylines. She describes herself as being a cross between Ice Cube & Princess Diana. Having worked with Ice Cube she admires his work ethics and she strives to give to humanitarian organizations in the same way Princess Diana gave of her time.Ms. Robinson managed a singer/songwriter for 3 years whom has a voice like angel and with her songs can entertain and heal the world, her name is HOPE.... She also managed for approximately a year an artist Lisa "Lofty" Lofthouse who is from Canada and based in Laguna Beach, playing at the Montage Resort, Lofty has a way of pulling in an audience and making you feel like your best friend is singing/sharing her favorite song in your den by a cozy fire... | |
