| Broke Kayne began his career in 1997 under the alias Knowledge Kayne. He dropped off the radar for a few years to start a family then came back to make the underground his stomping grounds. He later changed his name to Broke Kayne in 2005 due to personal reasons. "I didn't have enough life experience to call myself Knowledge, but I had an intimate knowledge of being broke." Headliners he's opened for: Bone Thugz N Harmony, South Park Mexican, Juan Gotti, Apache, Slimm Thug, 4- Corner Hustlers, Enthroned Ridaz, Poetic Thugz, Southern Saucy, the Fabricator, Mr. EGZ, Lunatic Villain Klika and Chingo Bling.
