L'aventure commence vraiment en 2005/2006, le groupe se produit plus de 50 fois en 1 an sur de nombreuses scènes de Marseille et la région. Depuis fin 2007, la tribu Katalienne se consacre à la préparation de son premier album dont l'enregistrement débutera en Février 2008 au Studio des Sirènes à Marseille...Après de longs mois passé à mûrir sous le soleil du Sud, les fruits de leur inspiration sont enfin prêts à révéler tous leurs arômes... Dès la fin de l'enregistrement Katalaï Roots Session repartira à l'assaut des scènes de la région pour partager ses transes et ses vibrations avec vous !!! The band comes from an acoustics quatuor, born in 2002, based on voices, guitars and percussions. Adventure really begins in 2005/2006, the group occurs more than 50 times in 1 year on numerous stages of Marseilles and the region. In 2007, the Katalian tribe dedicates itself to the preparation of its first album recording of which will start in February 2008 in the Studio des Sirènes in Marseilles...After long months past to mature under the sun of the South, the fruits of their inspiration are finally ready to reveal all their aromas... From the end of recording Katalaï Roots Session will leave again in the attack of the stages of the region to share his trances and his vibrations with you !!! Influences: Le puissant prophète Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Israel Vibration, Gladiators, Abyssinians, Lee Perry, Steel Pulse, Third World et bien d'autres artistes de Reggae mais aussi Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, et toute la bonne musique des 70's; les artistes locaux et notamment Jo Corbeau l'homme qui a amené le Reggae dans notre belle cité Phocéenne et toutes les autres influences qu'on oublie de citer !!!
