This may fit the common description of fearlessness, but in reality my way of being is stemmed from the fear of regret. ♣ I am overindulgent in sleeping, eating, and pleasures of the flesh. I'm what many would call a hedon. ♣ I see beauty in everything in life, including suffering. ♣ I'm a young girl with big plans, bigger dreams, and a heart that tramples both. ♣ I'm friendly and a kind-hearted person, yet harness the capability to be a complete bitch, especially when it comes to defending something I believe. ♣ I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. ♣ It takes a lot for me to give up. ♣ I accept everyone for who they are. Period. ♣ Unlike what I've seen most around here, I don't feel the need to have a quiz validate who I am or what I'm like. I'd much rather people get to know me personally and then decide for themselves whether they like me or not. WHEN IT COMES TO FAMILY... ♣ Family is VERY important to me. ♣ I love kids and have a higher tolerance for them than for most other age groups, yet I'm still undecided on whether I really want any of my own. ♣ That being said, I'm the extremely proud aunt of Jeannette Irene. WHAT I'M LIKE... ♣ I'm usually shy and/or quiet in person upon first impression, but if you get to know me you'll find that first impressions can be deceiving. ♣ I treat others the way they treat me. You only get what you give, so if you're kind to me and give me the respect that I deserve then you will receive the same in return. ♣ I'm a very fun-loving person, but I also know when play time is taboo. ♣ I'm very easily distracted. ♣ I'm not the life of the party, but I'm the joker who always walks on the bright side, and I tend to always smile/crack jokes about everything. ♣ I'm well aware a lot of people don't like me, but that doesn't bother me because those that do often mean a lot to me. ♣ I don't waste my energy on labeling myself. I am what I am and that's all I am. ♣ I don't waste my time on obnoxious people. If I don't like you make no mistake that I'll make that loud and clear to you. ♣ I'm not very peaceful when removed from my comfort zone. ♣ I love the little things in life - both literally and figuratively speaking. ♣ I speak three languages: Fluent English, español fluido, et un peu du français. ♣ I despise movie/video game spoilers. ♣ I don't let most people come too close, and those who have my trust and affection have earned it. ♣ I'm horrible with words, hence I'd much rather communicate through simple gestures when it really counts. ♣ If I'm wrong, I'll apologize; otherwise, forget talking to me unless you recognize your wrongdoing. ♣ I don't sacrifice; I compromise. ♣ I learned from "The Lion King" that you can't change what happened in your past; you can only learn from it. Therefore, I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. 'Nuff said. ♣ I have ZERO tolerance for disrespect, and I don't take crap from anyone. ♣ I set very high expectations for myself, keeping in mind that I may not accomplish them. In doing this, I know that even if I'm reaching for the sky and fail, I'll still catch a star. ♣ I get frustrated with people who are too scared to take a stand or take charge, and often find myself taking charge for them. ♣ My main pet peeves are liars and lies, spoken meaningless words, and mindless/rude people. ♣ I have no problem giving people a taste of their own medicine. MY HOBBIES... ♣ I adore animals and spend a lot of time with my pet chinchilla, Peek-a-Boo. ♣ I play three instruments, as well as sing. ♣ I love playing video games, especially RPG's, original Nintendo, and racing games. ♣ I thoroughly enjoy acting and have considered making a career out of it, but am so afraid of personal failure that I ultimately consider it no more than a fun pastime. ♣ I love reading useful things; rarely will I read fiction for leisure, unless it's mythology. WHAT I BELIEVE... ♣ My ideals and morals are well set, despite the absence of religion in my life. ♣ On paper, I'm Catholic. However, the most frequently present of intellectual stimulants in my life lie within existentialism, nihilism, and transhumanism, among other abstract thoughts which I find to be more logical, just, and moral than organized religion. ♣ My patron goddess is Isis, Queen of the Earth, the Moon, and the Stars; Goddess of Life and Healing; Protectress of the Dead; Mother of the Seasons! I adore everything she stands for and would like to, in a way, accomplish attaining the levels of love and selflessness that she has. ♣ Although I'm not a fan of organized religion, I don't condone others' practices. On the contrary, kudos to them for holding onto their beliefs! ♣ I encourage the idea that everyone should do whatever makes them happy, provided that they're not harming themselves or anyone else. ~Robert Frost~ Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold.
