I get inspired by watching the young and old blues players. The youth are the future to this genre and the older bluesmen are their teachers. MAN what a feeling to see them all performing together. I enjoy going to Phil Brady's, for Thursday night blues jams and on Sunday, at Teddy's JukeJoint on old Hwy 61. At Jams you get to witness the Good, The Bad and da Ugly..lol j/k...IT's ALL GOOD I get totally absorbed in the Music ~ Im Your Queen B...Baby! ~ NIPPER Was a stray dog found in 1884 by Mark Barraud in Bristol, UK. when Mark died three years later, Nipper (so named because of his tendency to nip the backs of visitors' legs) was taken to liverpool by Mark's younger brother Francis, who was a painter. Nipper discovered the phonograph (a cylinder recording and playing machine) and Francis Barraud often noticed how puzzled he was to make out where the voice came from. This scene must have been indelibly printed in Barraud's brain,for it was three years after Nipper died (in september 1895)that he committed it to canvas. FRANCIS BARRAUD "HIS MASTERS VOICE" In its original form, completed in early 1899, the picture showed the dog listening to a phonograph with a black horn.
