| d-bex is one member of the Large Amount Of Soul (L.A.O.S.) crew in Finland.
L.A.O.S. is a collaboration of three oldschool beatheadz abraham , d-bex and JayEM. They have known each other for several years but not until 2002 they understood the obvious fact that they should join forces in music production. They share the same passion for music and their taste of music is expectionally identical. It didnt take long when the first track was produced. Their first track was played in many FM and internet radio stations and it got some positive feedback from UK based labels too. L.A.O.S. sound is mainly melodic/rolling/funky drum and bass but their wide aspect in music wont hold them in one genre. As one wise man said: "There are only two types of musicgood and bad". L.A.O.S has a punch of releases lined up on labels like Defunked, Hospital and Midnight Sun Recordings. Their tracks are getting dj support from names like London Elektricity, Blu Mar Ten, Blame, Kasra and Utah Jazz just to name a few. When djing L.A.O.S. plays stuff from Drum and bass to nu-skool breaks depending of the events theme. Main reason for L.A.O.S. to play a certain track is to move the crowd emotionally and physically. Something to make that booty shake and soul vibrate. L.A.O.S Live consists of band own boys and guest artists and vocalists. L.A.O.S has joined forces with very talented vj crew named 304. Their visuals and L.A.O.S soundscapes will give you an experience you won´t forget in a while... L.A.O.S. has been involved in organizing some bigger electronic music events in Finnish region. They have brought names like London Elektricity, Nookie, Blu Mar Ten, Cyantific, Commix to Finland. One aim for organizing events is to bring international artists that haven´t been in Finland before and other is to bring Finnish new talents to the wider audience. |
